Clinical Director of Behavioral Health
Stefan Bain received his bachelor’s degree in social work, as well as a master’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in public health from the University of California at Berkeley. While at Cal, he interned at both the Stanford Medical Center and at the VA Medical Center in San Francisco, where he focused on the intersections of long-term care, population health, and mental illness. After graduating from Berkeley, he went to work for Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California, where he worked for 17 years. After leaving Kaiser, he and his family moved to the Nashville area, where he worked as Clinical Director for Behavioral Health for Tennessee’s Medicaid population, as well as Clinical Director at Maximus, a nation-wide nursing home assessment broker for PASRR regulatory alignment.
